BASEBALL DAYS

It's a little known fact that Patrick Dempsey turned down a soccer scholarship to pursue his love of baseball. He spent 12 years in the minor leagues, moving up to the big leagues, where he fondly refers to himself as "a big league bench warmer". Just after a few short months, he suffered  a torn rotator cuff injury & was sent back to the minors.  

 

With his vast baseball knowledge and training, you can still find Pat "paying it forward" to the younger generations. In fact, after winning his World Long Drive title in 2013, instead of a celebratory dinner after his win, he went down  to the local park that same evening and worked a baseball camp for future ballers! read more here
